Defy Logic Software, LLC was founded by Larry Enger, a software engineer and architect with decades of experience developing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and improving complex software systems.

Larry's experience spans embedded firmware, C and C++ development, enterprise software, distributed systems, software architecture, static analysis, debugging, system integration, and engineering process improvement.

Throughout his career, he has worked on systems ranging from resource-constrained embedded devices to large enterprise software platforms. His work has frequently involved stepping into complex environments, understanding unfamiliar systems, solving difficult technical problems, assessing existing architectures, and identifying software and system-level risks.

That experience has reinforced a practical engineering philosophy: understand the existing system before deciding how or even whether to change it. The right solution may involve redesign, but it may just as readily involve focused improvements to architecture, testing, tooling, development practices, or specific areas of implementation.

Defy Logic Software was created to provide organizations direct access to senior-level engineering expertise without the overhead of a large consulting engagement.
